How long does it take to tile a kitchen splashback?
​An average-sized splashback usually takes a day to complete, depending on the overall project scope. Once your tiles have dried, we will come back to do the grouting, cleaning and - depending on the tiles used - sealing.

What’s the cost of installing kitchen splashback tiles?
The budget to tile a kitchen splashback varies depending on the design, area to cover, and time it takes to complete. A straight-lay metro tile splashback will be cheaper than an intricate penny mosaic splashback with difficult access. Splashbacks aren’t generally priced on m2, but rather on the time they will take to complete. In some cases, projects range from $650 up to $2000+.

Absolutely! We can share with you the latest design trends, and recommend types of tiles and patterns to use - and what to avoid in certain areas. For example, you shouldn’t use ceramic floor tiles on your tiled shower floor, as they will absorb water over time and eventually pop up off the shower base, creating a major problem.

Will I be able to use my kitchen during the tile installation?
We aim to keep the disruption to your family life at a minimum. However, if we are working in your home, temporary arrangements would be necessary. The time it takes for tile adhesives to fully settle varies depending on environmental conditions, so we recommend staying off your tile installation for at least 24 hours.

What products can I use to maintain and clean my kitchen tiles?
A Ph-neutral solution would be ideal. It is better to use an epoxy grout to minimise stains on the grout. Rest assured that when we carry out your project, we will give you all the details on how to better maintain and extend the life of your kitchen tiles.
